About Me
Hello! My name is Max Dupras and I am an aspiring sports journalist at the University of Montana. I was the sports editor for the Montana Kaimin in Missoula, Montana. I was also an intern for Belgrade News in Belgrade, Montana and the Lake County Leader in Polson Montana. My passion is writing about the inner workings of sports and the athletes that make everything come together. I enjoy finding both personal and critical stories for a wide audience. In addition to being invested in sports, I am also an avid reader, intense music lover and cat dad.
What I Do
I am a free agent sports reporter with an ambition for covering the people behind the sports. Some of my favorite pieces have dissected the lives of the athletes that make up a sport. My goal is tell both an accurate and interesting story about the lives of these athletes while tackling issues both in and out of the sports I cover. I am working everyday to become a better writer and that first starts with becoming a better person.
